INVESTING IN FUTURE GENERATIONS OF LEADERS
TODAY OUR CHILDREN MAY BE 50% OF OUR POPULATION, BUT THEY ARE 100% OF OUR FUTURE!
As we stand in the gap to provide critical educational resources to support the arts, music, entrepreneurship, and athletics in our communities around the world. Through the MONAT Gratitude Grants program, eligible registered nonprofit organizations working in these areas may apply for grants to support their programs and services.
FOCUS AREAS
WHY YOUTH EDUCATION?
The Gap: Cuts in education budgets across the world have been particularly difficult on extracurricular programming. Nonprofit organizations have stepped in to fill the gaps in programming and open opportunities for children in all communities.
These activities help children develop motor skills, language, social skills, decision-making, healthy risk-taking, and inventiveness. They provide challenges for learners at all levels.
This programming reduces the incidence of violence and school dropouts, while simultaneously increasing graduation rates and the likelihood that students will pursue educational opportunities beyond high school.
These activities teach students the values of teamwork, individual and group responsibility, physical strength and endurance, competition, diversity, and a sense of culture and community.
